A 41-year-old Chinese man who could not stomach the fact that his wife had dumped him, tried to commit suicide by cutting off his manhood, the police said.
The man identified as Chan of Guangzhou, had gone on a drinking binge after his wife divorced him and heavily intoxicated, cut off part of his penis
and threw the chopped piece into a river. He was found by passersby on
the side of the river bleeding profusely, and was immediately taken to
the hospital.
Doctors only treated his wounds
because his manhood was lost in the river. Chan told doctors that he
felt nothing as he cut off his organ.
Chan said
that at first, he was very happy with his wife, but after she got a job
at a bar, they began to fight. He said his that wife was disappointed
about not having enough money. He complaint that his wife took away his
house and child.
