The Kwara State Governor, Alhaji Abdulfatah Ahmed and the governorship
candidate of the Labour Party, Dr. Mike Omotosho on Tuesday said some
people in the state were offering voters N10, 000 for Permanent Voter
Cards.
Both Ahmed and Omotosho alleged that PVCs were being
collected from unsuspecting members of the public under the guise that
the cards would be authenticated and returned to their owners.
They urged the electorate not to sell their PVCs.
Ahmed described the PVC as the only weapon of the electorate to elect leaders of their choice.
