Jose Caballero, 40, from Florida was
sentenced to two and a half years in prison. Caballero will be spending
thirty months in jail for having sex on the beach.
Caballero committed the act in front of children and people on the beach. His partner was
Elissa Alvarez, 21. Both of them were convicted for two counts of “
lewd and lascivious exhibition” in May. The jury was shown cellphone footage of the couple’s act that happened in front of children.
Caballero's judgement was harsh because he had served eight years for
cocaine trafficking. The two offenders will now register as sex
offenders even though they denied having sex. Alvarez said he was
dancing on Caballero.
The incident which was filmed happened on July 20, 2014 at Bradenton Beach, in Mexico.
